This isn’t the NBA Finals that anyone expected heading into the 2021 season, but look at that as a blessing in disguise as Game 1 tips off on Tuesday night at 9 p.m. ET.
For once, parity prevailed in the NBA, though injuries had plenty to do with it as the big-time favorites like the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets were ravaged by the injury bug.
So here we are with the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks — the two teams that not only were able to get through the gauntlet of the NBA Playoffs but stayed healthy along the way.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is trying to prove that he can get the job done as a leading man and deliver the Bucks their first title since 1971. Meanwhile, the Suns are looking for their first-ever NBA title in their 53-year history — all while delivering Chris Paul his first ring in his 16th season.
With Paul complementing Devin Booker — one of the most lethal scorers in the game — the Suns are considered the favorites to take the 2021 NBA Finals. But there’s plenty more for the betting man to get in on over the next two weeks:
