NE Philly man shot to death as girlfriend hid in closet

A man was shot to death Monday morning in Northeast Philadelphia as his girlfriend hid in the closet, reports say.

The victim, identified as Shaquille Abraham, 19, resided on the 9400 block of Fairgreen Lane in Northeast Philadelphia and was killed around 10 a.m. this morning, ABC reported.

Police received a call at 10:22 a.m. and found Abraham shot once in the chest. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

According to ABC, the 911 call is believed to have been made by his girlfriend, who reportedly said she was hiding in the closet and believed someone had been shot.

Abraham lived at the second-floor apartment with his mother and sister.

No arrests have been reported.
