When Chip Kelly was interviewed about his choice to take Vanderbilt Wide Receiver Jordan Matthews in the second round, he deflected questions about replacing DeSean Jackson.
Kelly went on to explain that Jeremy Macklin and Riley Cooper were the outside wideouts, and that their new receivers would fit into the slot position, replacing recently departed Jason Avant.
