Sports fans are used to rocking Citizens Bank Park for Phillies games and now they’ll get their chance to rock it for a Flyers game.
The NHL formally announced yesterday what most hockey fans already knew: the Flyers will host the New York Rangers at Citizens Bank Park for the 2012 Winter Classic, putting one of the biggest rivalry’s on hockey’s biggest stage.
There is no word yet on ticket prices or when tickets will be available, but the game is sure to be sold out. Check Metro sports for more coverage.
