A Norristown Mega Millions ticket hit for $1 million in the Feb. 21 drawing, lottery officials announced Monday.
The ticket, which was sold at a 7-Eleven at 1335 Sandy Hill Road, correctly matched all five white balls – 23, 29, 32, 45, 46 – but not the yellow Mega Ball 15, to earn a $1 million prize before the 25 percent federal withholding.
The convenience store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket, according to the news release.
“The prize must be claimed and the ticket validated before Lottery officials can identify the winner. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions winners have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes,” according to the news release.
