Norristown resident shot in home invasion

A Norristown resident was shot during a home invasion early Wednesday morning.

Police in Norristown are investigating a violent home invasion in which a resident was shot early Wednesday morning.

The crime happened about 2 a.m. on the 200 block of Pearl Street in the Montgomery County town, CBS Philly reports.

The victim’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening.

Two suspects reportedly broke into the home and shot the resident while ransacking the home. They stole an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing.
