Sunday, Oct. 12 marks the return of the Northern Liberties Fall Festival, and as you can imagine, the day will be packed with seasonal activities for locals and visitors alike.
Now in its 2nd year, 2025’s iteration is sponsored by Sprouts Farmers Market and brings a total of six hours of local vendors, seasonal bites, brews, live performances, family-friendly fun, and community activations to 3rd Street corridor and Liberty Lands Park.
“Northern Liberties BID is thrilled to bring back our Fall Festival for its second year,” said Sydney Rexroad, Executive Director of NLBID. “We’re expanding the celebration with even more vendors, family-friendly entertainment, and seasonal treats. We can’t wait to show off the best of our neighborhood – whether you’re enjoying the live performances, grabbing a bite from local favorites, or joining in the family activities, there’s truly something for everyone.”

Fall Fest highlights span music across two outdoor stages, a Philly sports-themed fan zone at North Third, the City Winery Wine Lounge, and a Family Fun Zone with pumpkin painting, games, and other all-ages fun. Guests can shop from dozens of local makers and artists, savor food and drink from neighborhood favorites, and take part in interactive activations while here as well.
Music-wise, performers like The Warhawks, Cadre Noir, Mandy Valentine, So Totally, and more will be on the docket for the occasion. Philadelphians can also sign up to be part of a hot dog eating contest, check out free indoor comedy sets, or head to an after-party inside Ortlieb’s with Reef the Lost Cause and Full Bush.
Those looking for some wellness activities, on the other hand, can opt to partake in a $5 yoga flow with Monarch Yoga, followed by a dance showcase from Living Arts. The occasion will also feature a kids’ costume event with Tula Yoga, and live music from Taylor Kelly, Huston West Banjo, and Bill Saurman’s School of Thought to close out the afternoon.
At the aforementioned Fan Zone on North Third, locals can find DJs, outdoor tables, bar service, and plenty of screens to watch the games of the day. City Winery’s section boasts cozy seating, wine tastings, and bottles available for purchase. And the Family Fun Zone (sponsored by Little City Montessori), offers pumpkin painting, bowling, scavenger hunts, face painting, and seasonal games for kids.
Locals can also take a piece of the day home with them by stopping by the Kin Creative House Polaroid Wall, where keepsake polaroid’s will be available to nab. And finally, festival-goers can also shop over 40+ retail, art, and service vendors including 70SIX Boutique, Ana Thorne, Lucky Bond, Indy Hall, Petal to the Metal Decor, and Sisterly Threads. Food and drink vendors include neighborhood favorites Bourbon & Branch, El Camino Real, Hudson Table, Jerry’s Bar, Milk Jawn, North Third, Urban Village Brewing and more.
