The man accused in the 2008 murder of a 23-year-old Drexel University teaching fellow in South Philly was found not guilty on Thursday.
Marcellus Jones was acquitted of all charges on Wednesday, the Inquirer reported.
Jones was charged with killing Beau Zabel, a graduate studentat Drexel University, in 2008.

Zabel was killed as he walked home from work at a South Philadelphia Starbucks on June 15 of that year. Philadelphia Police believe he was slain in a robbery in which he was targeted for his iPod.
He had moved to the city from his native Minnesota just weeks earlier.
Jones is presently serving a life sentence without parole for the2012 murder of Tyrek Taylor.

Prosecutors alleged Jones killed Taylor to prevent him from telling anyone that Jones killed Zabel, according to theInquirer, though no physical evidence linked him to Zabel’s murder.
