Tourists to our fair city got to see much more than the Liberty Bell on Saturday, thanks to Philly Naked Bike Ride (PNBR). Part of the World Naked Bike Ride Movement, PBNR was founded in 2009 and encourages cyclists to “bare as you dare.” Some went topless, some went completely nude and others strategically placed patches of fabric to cover more intimate parts of themselves.
Why do they do it? According to their website, it’s to promote “fuel conscious consumption, positive body image and cycling advocacy.”
