Thursday was day eight of Occupy Philly, and, with poor weather and resource strains, the movement continued to show signs of stress.
An additional homeless outreach committee was established in an attempt to solicit outside agencies to bring extra food supplies, mental health assistance and permanent housing options to the transient population of the encampment, which continues to grow.
