Ogontz 7-Eleven clerk shot in robbery

A 7-Eleven clerk was shot when the Ogontz store was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning.

A clerk at the Ogontz 7-Eleven was shot in his leg during an armed robbery early Tuesday.

Four armed men carried out the robbery at the store on the 1800 block of Stenton Avenue about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday, 6ABC Action News reports.

The victim was rushed to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment.

Philadelphia police are investigating the robbery.
