St. Patrick’s Day might be March 17, but locals can take a trip to Cape May any time this month to celebrate the occasion.

Montreal Beach Resort and Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille recently debuted O’Harry’s, a multi-week St. Patrick’s Day Pop-up Bar Experience. Open now through March 23, while there, visitors can check out live Irish music every Saturday night, special events, tasting dinners, new Irish menu offerings, specialty-themed cocktails, Irish beers, decorations and lights, and other surprises.

“Once again our team at Madison Resorts has come up with an amazing new concept in Cape May for off-season. Jingle Bar, Boo Bar and now O’Harry’s lets us uphold our core commitment to our team members by providing steady employment throughout the non-summer months,” said Dan Alicea, President of Madison Resorts in a statement. “For our regulars, families, friends, neighbors and tourists, this is a win-win for Cape May.”

From the kitchen, visitors can find Irish potato soup, corned beef & cabbage, Irish nachos, bangers & mash, Guinness Cottage Pie and Guinness Stout Chocolate Cake to finish things off on a sweet note.

From the bar, O’ Harry’s will be offering some drafts on theme, plus, an Irish Mule (Jameson and lime juice topped with ginger beer), Irish Gold (Jameson and peach schnapps topped with a splash of orange juice), the Leprechaun (Midori, Malibu coconut rum and pineapple juice), Shamrockarita (blanco tequila, triple sec, lime juice and sour apple liquor) and the O’Harry’s Espresso Martini (cold brew, Jameson Stout and Kahlua.)

The pop-up experience will also feature some stand-alone events like a Jameson Tasting Dinner on March 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. The three-course menu is paired with four Jameson Irish Whiskey blends and led by a Jameson representative. For $60 per person, participants can indulge in dishes like a charcuterie board, braised short rib and cheesecake lollipops.

Visitors can also head to a Paint & Sip with Russ and the Magic Brush on March 21 (6:30 to 8 p.m.) Tickets ($35) includes your first drink, all painting supplies and instructions.
