A security guard will now accompany 76er Jahlil Okafor whenever he goes out.
After a recent string of embarrassing off-the-court incidents, Jahlil Okafor’s handlers have requested that the 76ers provide a security presence for the star rookie, ABC has reported. The security measure comes after an incident last week in which Okafor was caught on camera in a brawl outside a Boston nightclub. That fight followed several other recent incidents including a man pointing a gun at Okafor’s head following an argument at a Philadelphia club and Okafor being pulled over driving 108 mph, ABC added.
