A 51-year-old man who was injured in a shooting two months ago was gunned down Friday night in East Germantown.
Authorities responded to the area just after 11 p.m. and found the Byron Johnson dead with a gunshot wound to his head inside the doorway of a property on the 5500 block of Bloyd Street.
It’s the third time Johnson, of West Oak Lane, has been shot. Investigators said he was shot April 5 in the left shoulder at the same location on Bloyd Street.

Seven other people were shot Friday night and Saturday in Philadelphia.
Three men showed up to Penn Presbyterian Hospital at 7 p.m. Saturday after shots rang out on the 200 block of S. Ithan Street in West Philadelphia.
One man had gunshot wounds to his neck, shoulder and elbow, and another had been shot twice in the lower back and torso. The third victim, a 23-year-old man, was hit in the left arm.
All three men were in stable condition following the shooting.
At 7:45 p.m. Saturday, a 29-year-old man was shot in the left leg on the 1300 block of E. Luzerne Street in Juniata. Officers recovered a gun, but no arrests have been made.
In Kensington, a 37-year-old man was also shot in the left leg just after 3 a.m. Saturday on the 700 block of E. Cornwall Street. He is listed in stable condition, police said.
Authorities said a 22-year-old man was walking just before midnight Friday in the area of 16th and Cumberland streets in North Philadelphia when he suffered a bullet wound to his right leg.
About 30 minutes earlier, a 42-year-old man was shot once in the back on the 2700 block of N. 9th Street in Fairhill. Officers rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police reported no arrests in any of the shootings.
On Sunday, a 31-year-old man was stabbed in the neck at around 4 p.m. on the 3000 block of F Street in Kensington, police said. The suspect was someone he knew, investigators said, but no one was in custody as of Sunday evening.
The victim is listed in critical condition at Temple Hospital.
Three arrested while looting store
Police arrested two men and a woman early Saturday morning after a group of people allegedly broke into a Center City store.
An officer witnessed a 35-year-old man and a 27-year-old man fleeing the Champion store near 15th and Walnut streets at 3:45 a.m., authorities said. Both men had merchandise with tags on, police said.
Inside the store, a 25-year-old woman was going through the drawers behind the counter, police said. She told officers she was only taking mints, according to authorities.
Investigators said she also was in possession of drugs.
