Pa. AG: SEPTA bus driver who dealt drugs on lunch break had Porsche, Mercedes, 100 lbs of pot

A SEPTA bus driver arrested for allegedly using his lunch break to pick up over 100 pounds of high-grade pot has been charged with conspiracy, possession of marijuana with intent
to deliver, criminal use of a communications facility and intentional possession of a controlled substance, according to a release from state Attorney General Linda Kelly.

Yves Daudier, 43, who has residences in Yeadon, Pa and Sewel, NJ, was arrested Thursday at a self-storage facility, where he is listed as leasee of a locker, on the 2200 block of Island Avenue in Southwest Philadelphia.

Multiple federal, state and local investigators formed a joint task force and arranged an undercover pot buy with Daudier that day, according to the release.

Daudier, who was in his SEPTA uniform at the time of the arrest, told agents he was cleaning out his storage locker during his lunch break. But a search of his car at the site allegedly turned up 104 pounds of marijuana bundled in two large bales with an estimated value of $215,000.

Also seized was a scale, an electronic money counter and a Breitling watch worth several thousand dollars that Daudier told investigators he found on a bus. Agents also uncovered paperwork allegedly showing Daudier intended to lease a Bentley and owned a Porsche and a Mercedes.

A search of Daudier’s home in New Jersey further unearthed $10,000 in cash and a semi-automatic pistol. He will be prosecuted by the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.
