Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History

If you’re looking for gifts to give for Passover in Philadelphia, The Weitzman offers a wide array of options, from different host gifts (such as a marzipan matza pizza and a pomegranate matzah cover) to seder plates, a variety of finds for kids (such as a Passover magnetic dart game), Haggadot, and more.

Additionally, on April 13, an award-winning film executive produced by Hillary Rodham Clinton and Chelsea Clinton will make its Philadelphia premiere on the last night of Passover (and also, the week leading up to Holocaust Remembrance Day, Yom HaShoah). “How Saba Kept Singing” follows the story of David “Saba” Wisnia and his survival of Auschwitz.

The film is described as an uplifting story about faith, family and the power of discovery, and following the film, a Q&A will take place with David’s grandson Avi, who is featured in the documentary, and Sara Taksler, the film’s director. As a release states, the event will end with a special musical performance from Avi and all in attendance are then invited to a casual post-film reception with the Wisnia family, which includes wine and food to celebrate the end of Passover. Tickets range from $15-$18, and the film will air nationally on PBS on April 18.
