If you want the ultimate therapeutic experience, this class is for you. Philadelphia Brewing Company(which happens to be one of the largest breweries in the city) and Morris Animal Refuge are teaming up to bring the cutest yoga class you have ever seen-literally. Philadelphians are invited to join in on a Puppy Yoga class- no you’re not dreaming something like this does actually exist- and the class proceeds benefit a great cause.
This hour-long course will feature a relaxing and strengthening yoga class alongside some adorable, adoptable puppies in Philadelphia Brewing Company’s event space. To make the event even better, all participants will also receive a complimentary brew at the end of the class in Philadelphia Brewing Company’s second-floor tasting room.
“We are thrilled to partner with Morris Animal Refuge to host our first-ever puppy yoga class,” Nancy Barton, Co-Owner and Co-Founder of Philadelphia Brewing Company, said in a release. “I can’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday — yoga, puppies and beer, all for a good cause!”
All proceeds from the Puppy Yoga class will go directly to the Morris Animal Refuge which offers innovative and high-quality care for cats, dogs and other small animals. The Refuge provides a full range of preventive, protective and adoption services for abused, neglected and abandoned animals. The Morris Animal Refuge adoption services cover the Greater Philadelphia Pennsylvania Region; consisting of an area in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. In more than 135 years, no animal has ever been turned away according to the event’s official release.
All of the cute and cuddly puppies will be provided by the Morris Animal Refuge, but guests should still BYOM (Bring your own mat). Tickets are $30
