Philadelphia’s favorite outdoor shopping experience is back.
The Philadelphia Marketplace will return to Dilworth Park every Friday and Saturday (noon to 6 p.m.) throughout September, bringing together local makers, artisans, and small businesses for a month-long celebration of creativity.

In partnership with the Center City District, the Marketplace offers visitors the chance to browse a curated selection of up to 20 vendors each weekend. Shoppers can explore a mix of handmade goods, from stuffed animals and jewelry to candles, soaps, fragrances, clothing, home goods, and even specialty coffees. Each weekend promises a fresh lineup, with some fan-favorite vendors returning regularly, and others making special appearances.
Local businesses like Fairy Greens, Kurious Stitches, Moss and Canvas, Lily Lough Jewelry, and Candaces Canvasses will join a rotating roster of makers from Philadelphia and the greater tri-state area, ensuring each visit brings something new to discover.

“The Philadelphia Marketplace is a fantastic way to enjoy the last weeks of summer and early fall while discovering incredible local creativity right in the heart of Center City,” said organizer Thomas Bauer. “Each season, we welcome a vibrant mix of small businesses and makers from across the tri-state area, offering visitors something new to explore every weekend.”
“My favorite thing about this event is that it is a regularly weekly showcase of local vendors from the Philadelphia region,” Bauer added. “It’s a truly amazing way to support small businesses and find something special for yourself at the same time. It is truly a win-win.”
