The world’s biggest sporting event has arrived in Philadelphia.
In celebration of the World Cup’s arrival, Philadelphia Soccer 2026, a nonprofit organization serving as the Local Host Committee for the FIFA World Cup’s stint in the City of Brotherly Love, has announced some exciting upcoming community events.
On Tuesday, June 17, footie fans and soccer specialists alike are invited to show off their knowledge of the game for a chance to win exclusive prizes during FIFA World Cup trivia at Dock Street Brewery South. From 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., fans can enjoy delicious game-day grub, soccer-themed drink specials (the first 50 guests will receive a free drink), FIFA Club World Cup matches, and a special giveaway ticket drawing.
For each specialty cocktail sold, $1 will directly support Philadelphia Soccer 2026’s youth soccer legacy programming.
Next, on Thursday, June 19, Philadelphia Soccer 2026, in partnership with New Mainstream Media, is hosting a community watch party at Lion Sports Bar, the city’s newest soccer spot, to watch two thrilling matches as Inter Miami faces off against Porto and the Seattle Sounders host Atlético Madrid. Fans can also win exclusive prizes, including tickets to a FIFA Club World Cup match in Philadelphia.
The first 50 guests at Lion Sports Bar’s watch party will also receive a free drink, and $1 from all drinks sold from 3 to 6 p.m. will directly support Philadelphia Soccer 2026’s youth soccer legacy programming.
Then, on Saturday, June 21, Philadelphia Soccer will host fans at Lighthouse 1893 for some more thrilling World Cup action, including in-person soccer matches featuring Lighthouse’s U-23 team, live entertainment, and a FIFA Club World Cup 25 watch party. The first 50 guests at Kughthouse 1893 will receive free admission, and for every cover fee collected, $2 will directly support Philadelphia Soccer 2026’s youth soccer legacy programming.
Finally, on June 25, Philadelphia Soccer will host its final FIFA Club World Cup watch party in partnership with WURD Radio at Two Locals Brewery. Guests can enjoy draft beers while watching Borussia Dortmund face Ulsan HD and Mamelodi Sundowns take on Fluminense. Throughout the night, guests will once again have the chance to win prizes, including tickets to a FIFA Club World Cup match in Philadelphia.
Once again, the first 50 guests will receive a free drink, and $1 from all drinks sold from 3 to 6 p.m. will directly support Philadelphia Soccer 2026’s youth soccer legacy programming.
“These events are a celebration of the Beautiful Game and a preview of the energy and community spirit that Philadelphia will bring to the global stage next summer,” said Meg Kane, Host City Executive and CEO of Philadelphia Soccer 2026. “The FIFA Club World Cup matches in our city provide an incredible opportunity to connect with fans and show why Philadelphia is a premier soccer destination.”
