Free Library of Philadelphia offers workshops to displaced federal workers

The Free Library of Philadelphia will once again host a series of Federal Employee Transition Workshops this September, offering career guidance and resources for federal workers.

The free workshops will provide tips and best practices for resumes, career searches, LinkedIn, and networking opportunities from human resource professionals.

Dates, locations and registration

The informational workshops will take place in September at two different locations, with an additional online option available. Registration is required to attend a workshop.

Upcoming workshops will be held Monday, Sept. 8, at 4:30 p.m. at the Business Resource and Innovation Center at Parkway Central LibraryMonday, Sept. 15, at 4:30 p.m. at the Joseph E. Coleman Northwest Regional Library; and Thursday, Sept. 18, at noon, which will be held virtually.

The Library is here to offer the resources, guidance, and encouragement individuals need to take the next step in their careers.”
