The Philadelphia Zoo is well known for its beautiful grounds and amazing animal friends. It also hosts some of the city’s most exhilarating events, such as this weekend’s Summer Ale Festival or the upcoming return of ‘Zoo Done It.’
Back for its second annual adventure, the Philadelphia Zoo, in partnership with Without a Cue Productions, takes Philadelphians on an exciting and mysterious ride throughout the Zoo on Saturday, Aug. 2, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Those attending this adults-only, after-hours scavenger hunt will have the opportunity to uncover the mysteries hidden within the Zoo as they explore the grounds. In year two of this now annual event, the adventure is bigger and better, expanding across the entire Zoo property, with more mystery, actors, clues and prizes.
One keen participant will win an exclusive chance to return to the Zoo later in the year to enjoy a private guided tour of The Solitude, a famous American historic landmark also thought to be haunted.

Tickets for this adults-only event are now on sale and include admission and complimentary parking. For $75, you can purchase a “Prime Suspects” bundle that includes admission, complimentary parking, a complimentary boozy or non-boozy beverage, popcorn and a Zoo Key. Zoo members will save $10 off each ticket and bundle.
“We are always looking for unique ways to connect people with Philadelphia Zoo, and this event is the perfect way for the 21+ crowd to experience the Zoo with a twist,” said Vice President of Marketing and Communication Patrick McMaster. “Last year’s event was a huge success, so this year we’ve upped the ante, expanded the footprint and can’t wait to see who’s going to solve the mystery and take home the grand prize. This is the only time we give the public a chance to get exclusive access to The Solitude, a famous American historical landmark.”
