Philadelphia’s Center City buildings gyrate slightly in earthquake

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit nine miles south of Mineral, Va. at 2:51pm today, shaking buildings here in Philadelphia over 200 miles away.

The earthquake was 3.7 miles deep, and seismologists are still reviewing the exact details of the quake.

Confused crowds have gathered outside some high rises.
