City turns red for Phillies watch parties and specials

The Fightin Phils are back.

Phillies’ Opening Day is officially this week on Thursday, March 30, and the Home Opener will bring the action to the City of Brotherly Love next week on April 6. To celebrate and to cheer on our team, spots all across the City of Brotherly Love are hosting Phillies watch parties and specials to kick off the 2023 season with some spirit. And we’ve got the scoop on them all. 

Xfinity Live!

Live! Casino & Hotel

Sports & Social in Live! Casino & Hotel is offering a special new cocktail menu to celebrate the launch of home games next week on April 6. Beginning that Thursday, Philadelphians can sip on an array of new specialty sips, such as The Schwarber (made with Pio Prosecco, peach schnapps and pineapple juice), The Turner (made with silver tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, cointreau and Red Bull watermelon) and more. There’s also a non-alcoholic libation (The Harper) to look out for.

Live! Philadelphia has multiple viewing locations with hundreds of LED TV screens around the casino floor however, including the Center Bar, which offers 360-degree views of the action on the casino floor, drink specials and live entertainment from Philly’s favorite bands and DJs, a release states.

Additionally, Phillies fans who attend home games this season can also receive convenient parking at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia. The release also states that Gold Card Live! Rewards members and above will receive free parking at all home games and Classic Card Live! Rewards members will get reimbursed for parking with Free Slot Play. Parking is first come, first served. Guests can register for a Live! Rewards membership for free at the Live! Rewards Club on the casino floor.

Libertee Grounds

If you’re looking for Phillies watch parties, Libertee Grounds will be opening early at 3:30 p.m. to showcase Opening Day on March 30. The venue will also be showcasing a few different specials for Philadelphians to indulge in, including $10 Kenwood Pitchers, plus a $10 combo of a Kenwood Pint and a Libertee wagyu beef hot dog (which will be available for $12 for all Phillies games this season.)

Xfinity Live! 

There are a few immediate places that come to mind when you think of where to go for Phillies watch parties, and Xfinity Live! is certainly one of them. 

As a release states, starting with the Season Opener With Budweiser party on Thursday, March 30, the venue is kicking off the new baseball season with $3 Budweiser, Bud Light, and Michelob Ultra bottles, live DJs, giveaways sponsored by Budweiser, sports trivia, and a chance to win two tickets to the Phillies Opening Day at Citizens Bank Park on April 6. 

And it’s all happening while showcasing Xfinity’s new mammoth 58-foot screen. Doors at noon, and the games will start at 4:05 p.m. The venue’s Opening Day Party With Budweiser will then follow on Thursday, April 6, with live entertainment, acoustic performances in PBR Philly, multiple DJs, trivia, giveaways, and much more. The pre-game party will begin at 11 a.m. with the game Phillies vs Cincinnati Reds starting at 3:05 p.m. More information can be found online.

KOP Town Center

For Phillies fans in King of Prussia, the Town Center will be hosting a watch party this Thursday during the game. This free event will feature a live stream of the game, the chance to snap a picture with the NL Champs trophy, and the opportunity to party with the Phanatic and alumni. Fans who attend will even have a chance to win tickets to games this season. More information can be found online.
