Investigators found two cardboard boxes and a coffin with bodies inside.

Police said Powell-Dailey was paid to perform services, including cremation, but she did not do it.

She was taken into custody on Thursday night, police said. It was unclear why the arrest came three months after the gruesome discovery.

Powell was one of two Philadelphia funeral home directors under scrutiny for leaving human remains in unrefrigerated spaces.

West Philadelphia funeral director Blair Hawkins was arrested in September in a similar case.
