If you’re lucky enough to be in Philly during the week leading up to St. Patty’s Day, then you’re lucky enough. Here are some festive events happening in and around the City of Brotherly Love.
Evil Genius
Philly’s own beer lab and distributor is known for having seriously good beers with seriously funny names, but for St. Patty’s Day, expect their new brew to be seriously magical. On March 12, Evil Genius will be releasing their new creation, Magically Delicious sold in 4 packs of 16oz cans – 7.2%. The Hazy Oatmeal IPA is brewed with heaps of Lucky Charms cereal, mosaic and Chinook Hops. Then on March 23, Philadelphians can also drink the rainbow with the release of Evil Genius’ Ermahgerd Skurtles sold in 4 packs of 16oz cans. This Kettle Sour was brewed with sour Skittles and aged on key lime and cherry puree. But that’s not all: On St. Patrick’s Day itself, look for a special St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Lab with indoor socially distanced seating, beer, food (get your corned beef hash special), plus Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly concerts on the TV before/after their special St. Patrick’s Quizzo.

Bridget Foy’s
After a fire engulfed the original establishment in the fall of 2017, the Foy’s have reopened a new eatery where the neighborhood favorite once stood, and the Foy’s are celebrating their first St. Patrick’s Day in their new spot with ample opportunity for Philadelphians to enjoy with them. From Friday, March 12 through Sunday March 14, and on Wednesday, March 17, they will be offering Guinness beef stew, corned beef and cabbage, chocolate whiskey cake with chocolate buttercream and Bailey’s ganache, Guinness on draft, an Irish Whiskey Flight and Irish Coffee — plus a few other surprises.

Jerry’s Bar
This Saturday/Sunday, Philadelphians can head to Jerry’s Bar to celebrate the lucky holiday with everyone’s favorite weekend meal, brunch. The Northern Liberties eatery will be offering indoor and outdoor seating, plus courtyard garden seating starting at 9 a.m. and will be serving up traditional Irish fare, Irish spirits and drafts, food and drink specials and inspired cocktails. John Henry’s Pub
The Main Line is getting just as festive for the green-clad holiday as much as the City of Brotherly Love. John Henry’s Pub in Ardmore is known for always having one of the most festive celebrations for St. Patty’s Day, and this year will be no different. For 2021, diners can make reservations for indoor or outdoor socially distanced seats, and can also indulge in a variety of different Irish specials. Specialty dishes include ham and cabbage, potato soup, fish and chips and shepherd’s pie appetizer balls, plus, Irish beers, Irish whiskey tasting and Irish dancers will also be present from 6 to 6:30 p.m.

P’unk Burger
St. Patrick’s Day is almost here, but Philadelphians are in luck because P’unk Burger is celebrating all month long with a specialty burger and shake. Throughout March, diners can try the hotspot’s OH Rueben Burger ($14 made with a beef patty stuffed with Swiss cheese then topped with corned beef, sauerkraut and more Swiss cheese, fried pickles, and Thousand Island dressing) and their Lucky Charms Shake ($9 made with vanilla ice cream blended with marshmallows and Lucky Charms, then topped with whipped cream and more Lucky Charms.) Both specialty items are available now through March 31 for take-out, delivery or dine-in.

Craft Concepts Group
There are three different ways you can celebrate the lucky holiday in Philly this year with Craft Concepts Group. According to a release, diners can head to Midtown Village and Center City to celebrate St. Patrick’s on Saturday, March 13 and Wednesday, March 17. Craft Concepts Group presents St. Patrick’s food and drink features, including the return of their green bee, and this year you can add a touch of the pot of gold with edible glitter for only $1 more. At BRU and Tradesman’s, diners can look for Irish Coffee, drink features, and BRU Bangers and Mash, which is all available for indoor and outdoor seating (private heated tents available) and cocktails/food to go. At Finn McCool’s, diners can look for expanded outdoor seating, plus drink features, food features, Irish Coffee, and traditional bangers and mash. Tradesman’s and Finn McCool’s will also offer added service for food and drink for take-out.

SliCE
All SliCE locations will be offering delivery for hungry Philadelphians to indulge in their new St. Patrick’s Day pizza from March 12 to 21. The specialty pie features a white pizza, olive oil, mozzarella, swiss cheese, their family-recipe of ham and cabbage, and is then finished with spicy mustard. As an extra bonus, diners can also order up a Calzone or Stromboli by special request as well. The Irish-inspired specials will be available for take-out or delivery from any location, or for delivery across Center City. Pizzas are priced: small $14, large $20, vegan small $17, vegan large $23, gluten free $17.

If you didn’t know what you were doing yet to celebrate St. Patty’s Day, now your plans are SET. SET NoLibs will feature food and drink specials all day on March 17, and diners can look for corned beef sliders, loaded corned beef nachos with green corn tortilla chips, corned beef tacos with green corn tortillas, plus whiskey, cocktail and beer specials. The Olde Bar
Jose Garces’ Old City spot will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day from March 17 to 21 with a St. Patrick’s Happy Hour Specials from 4 to 6 p.m. According to a release, the special happy hour includes an Irish Tea Party (Happy Hour only $6, Jameson, Absinthe, Sweet Green Tea, Sorrel Leaf), a Beer and Shot special (Happy Hour only $6, 2Sp Baby Bob Stout and a shot of whiskey) and a special offering corned beef fries, a beer and a shot for $10. Additionally, the Old City spot will also be offering a special cocktail to run all open hours: Cameron’s Kick is made with Jameson, Grants, House Made Orgeat, Lemon and Connemara Peated Whiskey and will be available for for $11.

Village Whiskey
The newly reopened and expanded Village Whiskey is celebrating St. Patty’s Day the best way they know how—with a specialty burger. The “To Fineghy and Beyond” will be available all month long, and features a lamb burger, Irish Dubliner cheddar, Jameson Cipollini onions, Guinness mustard and bread and butter pickles served on a potato bun.
