The Philly Home and Garden Show is next week, and over the three-day event, there will be plenty of reasons to stop by — hundreds of reasons, in fact.

From Friday, Feb. 23 to Sunday, Feb. 25, Philadelphians with a green thumb and a knack for home goods will be able to peruse through over 300 exhibitors ranging from home décor and furniture; garden and landscaping; kitchen and bath; plus food and beverage.

New this year, attendees will be able to try out pickleball courts as a “test drive” to see if they want one for their homes through a partnership with Superior Play Systems.

Other new additions this year include special appearances by Clint Harp, the dumpster diving, reclaimed wood-loving carpenter on HGTV’s hit show ‘Fixer Upper’ as well as Steve Ford, a Pennsylvania native from HGTV’s ‘Restored by the Fords’, ‘Home Again with the Fords’, ‘A Very Brady Renovation’, ‘Rock the Block’, and the Property Brothers ‘Brother vs. Brother.’

Harp’s Main Stage shows will take place on Saturday, Feb. 24 and Sunday, Feb. 25, both at 1 p.m. Ford’s shows, on the other hand, will take place on Friday, Feb. 23, at 6 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m.

Other highlights for the Philly Home + Garden Show span the Step Into Spring section featuring five of the region’s top landscapers creating a 5,000 sq. ft. section of outdoor inspiration, and the Philly’s Favorites Market which boasts an open market-style area with local artisans and retailers. While there, Philadelphians can shop antiques, homemade, finely crafted items, specialty foods, and original art.

The DIY Succulent and Terrarium Bar + Shop will feature some of the most unique décor and gift items to spruce up your yard, plus Philadelphians can customize their own terrarium. The Pop-Up Flower Market, on the other hand, will house favorites from Cameron Peters Floral Design.

Then there’s the Barking Lot + Doggy Fashion Show— a fan favorite that also provides some good. While our furry friends strut their stuff in the fashion show on Saturday and Sunday, a portion of sales from this pet market filled with the most popular treats and accessories benefits the PSPCA directly.

For those looking for some spirited beverages while at the event, The Whiskey Backyard By Country Hammer Moonshine will allow attendees to pick up some entertaining ideas, and sample some of PA’s finest Moonshine flavors. This section will also house backyard games for groups to enjoy while posting up.

Another new facet to the 2024 Philly Home + Garden Show comes from the Food Truck Rally, which will feature multiple food trucks including Captain’s Market and Bucktown Grille set up outside the Hall A Main Entrance from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb. 25.

Finally, there will also be a designated Hero Day to honor our local heroes on Friday, and all active and retired military, first responders, nurses, doctors and teachers will get free admission upon identification, plus a Senior and SEPTA Day. If you have a SEPTA Key card, you have the key to the Philly Home and Garden Show on Friday. Present your SEPTA key at the box office for free admission. On that same day, guests that are 60+ will receive a $3 discount at the Box Office as well.
