A Philadelphia man pleaded guilty to raping a teenage girl from Pottstown as jurors were being selected in a Montgomery County courthouse for his trial.
Pedro Alberto Domena Jr., 35, pleaded guilty on Monday to raping the teenage girl, the Pottstown Mercury News reported.
Domena, of the 4200 block of North 7th Street in Hunting Park, was a friend of his victim’s mother and abused the teenage girl inside her own home while she was between the ages of 15 and 16, according to prosecutors, who reportedly said he created “a house of horrors.”
In his guilty plea, Domena, who his defense attorney said suffers from bipolar disorder, also admitted that he locked a 12-year-old girl who was in his care in an attic and denied her food.
Domena pleaded guilty to charges of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, false imprisonment and corruption
