Philly policewoman arrested for toy store theft conspiracy

Philadelphia police officer Bridgette Paris, 48, was arrested today for her alleged involvement in an ongoing conspiracy to steal from a local toy store, police said.

Paris, a 14-year veteran of the department, was taken into custody following an investigation by the Internal Affairs Bureau and the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. She is charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property and forgery.

Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey will suspend Paris for thirty days with the intent to dismiss.
