Philly Pretzel Factory to go global?

Philly Pretzel Factory has it sights set high.

The company recently announced plans to open 500 Pretzel Factory shops nationwide by 2020, including one in all 50 states, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.

They currently have 148 locations in 10 factories and are known for their delicious pretzels and incredible dips like sugary Buttercreme.

Chief development officer Tom Monaghan told the Journal that after spreading nationwide, the company will look at “international opportunities.”

Philly Pretzel Factory could be opening up shops in Europe, Canada and Asia as early as 2016, Monaghan said.
