All Philadelphia School District schools and offices, along with all of the city’s Catholic schools, will be closed on Monday, Philly.com reported.
This is the first snow day of the school year, and it will be made up for. The final day of the school year will now be on June 23 rather than June 22.
Additionally, “because of a higher-than-usual number of days off earlier in the year due to the Pope’s September visit, there were no snow days built into the calendar,” Philly.com reported.
