Sergio Torrado, a principal dancer with the Pennsylvania Ballet, says, “Actress Natalie Portman is a good kisser.”
The Spanish-born Torrado would know: He shared a sex scene with Portman while filming the movie “Black Swan.” Torrado was one of fourteen dancers from the Pennsylvania Ballet that appeared in the Golden Globe-nominated film.
“The director, Darren Aronofsky, only told me about the sex scene an hour before taping because he wanted it to be natural,” Torrado said.
The sequence took place on a table with Portman clad only in a bra and short skirt.
The Pennsylvania Ballet dancers, who spent one month last January at the SUNY campus in Purchase, N.Y., dancing in the film, often worked 14 hours a day. As a thank-you gift, the film’s choreographer, the internationally renowned Benjamin Millepied, is creating a new ballet for the company that will premiere in April at the Merriam Theater.
