When you think of Philly cheesesteaks, Geno’s Steaks immediately comes to mind. For the past 50 years, they’ve been serving up the Philly staple to locals and tourists alike, becoming a destination spot for the City of Brotherly Love. This past Saturday, they celebrated their 50th anniversary with a carnival-themed block party that was open to the public.
Many celebrities and people of note made appearances, including: Eagles Defensive End Fletcher Cox, Marc Summers and Councilman Mark Squilla.
