This past Saturday, Hawthorne’s Beer Cafe (738 S. 11th St.) held their 8th Annual IPA, Champagne and Rose Block Party. Despite the terrible weather, over 1000 people braved the storm for this all-ages event, which featured 75 different selections of beer, wine, rose and more.
“Our restaurants are constantly evolving, offering something slightly different every time you visit,” says Hawthorne’s Beer Cafe owner Chris Fetfatzes. “With the recent law changes in Pennsylvania, we now offer a wide variety of sparkling, white and red wines, champagnes, and rosés at Hawthorne’s. You can enjoy ‘in-house’ while munching on some of our homemade menu items, grab a bottle before you head home or to your favorite BYO. Adding these selections to our biggest event of the year only made sense.”
The event also featured live music from The John McNutt Trio, Las Palabras, DJ Christophonic and DJ Lexx.
