PHOTOS: DJ Trayze wins the Red Bull Thre3Style US Championship

On August 11, DJ Trayze was crowned the Red Bull Thre3Style US National Champion at Union Transfer. One of six finalists selected to compete from around the country out of thousands of entries, Trayze will now represent the United States at the 2016 Red Bull Thre3Style World DJ Championships in Chile, Santiago from December 12 to December 18.

On winning, the DJ Champion said: “It’s really the validation. Not that anyone needs to be validated, but the guys that are in this and started it and built it and everyone who watches it – this is important. We’re keeping this culture and music alive, and we’re just setting this up so we can do this forever.”

Also present at the event was Philly DJ legend, DJ Jazzy Jeff who performed into the wee hours along with Skratch Bastid.

The other five finalists included DJ Ease. DJ Supagi, DJ Boi Jeanius, DJ Mike 2600 and DJ Jaycee.
