Nearly 30,000 runners hit Philadelphia Sunday for the 26.2 mile course that makes up the Gore-tex Philadelphia Marathon.

The winner was Teklu Deneke, of Ethiopia, currently residing in Arizona, with a time of two hours and 17 minutes.

Philadelphia Brian Lang broke the Guiness World Record for fastest run dressed as Santa. He ran 26.2 miles in a Santa suit, hat and beard in two hours and fifty-four minutes.
