On Saturday, Nov. 4, Circadium School of Contemporary Circus held their inaugural gala at their school, located at 6440 Greene St. in West Mt. Airy.
Over 200 people were in attendance at the sold-out event.
“We just wrapped up our first fundraising Gala, and it was a tremendous success. We had approximately 225 people in attendance, including over 40 artists volunteering their time to create new multidisciplinary works in the building,” says Shana Kennedy, executive director of Circadium School of Contemporary Circus AND Philadelphia School of Circus Arts.
“This moment has been a long time in the making! What a moment to have our entire circus and arts family around us as we launch the first fundraiser and the first performance in our new space — all to show their support for this new school we founded. We couldn’t be more thankful and more excited,” she adds.
