The rainy weather forecast on Saturday prompted Opera Philadelphia to reschedule their annual Opera on the Mall to Sunday, Oct. 2. Despite the weather being a little dreary, 2000 people came out to the event which included an HD broadcast of Puccini’s “Turandot” on the grounds of Independence Mall.
