PHOTOS: Police evict Occupy Philly in 1 a.m. raid

Early wednesday morning, Occupy Philly’s time at Dilworth Plaza came to
an end as police arrested 52 protesters who squared off with authorities
throughout Center City.

Police evicted the protesters around 1 a.m., and cleanup crews arrived an hour and a half later. Then throughout the night the protesters marched around the city trying to return to Dilworth Plaza, but were met by police, roadblocks at each intersection. At one point, protesters made it to 15th and Chestnut ahead of police and ran through and knocked down all the barricades.

Photographers Paige Ozaroski and Kevin Cook was on the scene for Metro.
