Last week, law firm Cozen O’Connor hosted Cocktails with a Kick 2017 to raise money for the Starfinder Foundation.
Founded in 2002, Starfinder inspires kids from underserved communities to achieve success through their soccer, educational and personal development programs. The foundation helps kids become healthier, do better in school and prepare for life through their soccer-focused after school and summer programs.
According to their website, 40% of Philly kids live in poverty so the work Starfinder does is instrumental in giving kids a better chance at success.
