We may not have a yacht — or even a raft — but sipping wine on the water instyle is still an option this summer. Old City’s Pinot Boutique and PhillyByBoat are launching Sunset Wine Cruises on the Delaware River.
The cruises, on a small ship fashioned from a 1920s “mini-yacht,” leave from Penn’s Landing and sail along Philly’s riverfront sites as Pinot hosts a wine class, complete with tastings. After the hour-long class, continue to sail for another hour and buy a nightcap from the cash bar.
Ten cruises are scheduled from May 24-Oct. 10, usually from 7-9 p.m. and priced from $45-$75. Details and tickets are at PinotBoutique.com or PhillyByBoat.com.
