A man has been charged in the Mayfair shooting Saturday night that reportedly left the leader of a local Pagans Motorcycle Club chapter wounded.
William Damm, 44, reportedly the cousin of victim Michael “Brick” Lane, 31, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment, police said.
The incident occurred Saturday around 8:15 p.m. when police received reports of a shooting on the 3200 block of Friendship Street.
Lane was reportedly shot “at least twice” police said and sustained a serious wound to the face.
He was transported by helicopter to Torresdale/Frankford Aria Hospital and then was brought by helicopter to Jefferson Hospital, and is still in serious condition.
Witnesses at the scene reportedly directed police to Damm, from whom a weapon was also recovered.
