Police are working the case of two suspects who are believed to have murdered a Port Richmond man on Thanksgiving Day as he walked home from a nearby Wawa.
Officer Tanya Little confirmed Sunday that police have located the vehicle allegedly used by the suspects, but declined to comment on when or where the vehicle was found.
Ryan Kelly, 21, was murdered on Thanksgiving Day around 5 a.m. while walking to his home on the 3500 block of Almond Street.
Kellymay have attempted to fight back against the robbers, leading to the suspects shooting him, reports say. Anyone with information on the suspects is asked call theHomicide Unit at 215-686-3334. A $20,000 reward is offered on all homicide cases for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
Police find suspects’ vehicle in Port Richmond slaying
Police say Kelly was killed by a gunshot wound to the chest.
The suspects allegedly were traveling in awhite Mazda 626, which was stolen, during their robberies and when they killed Kelly.
Police believe they may have participated in another robbery just 45 minutes before attempting to rob Kelly.
Surveillance images released Friday show the suspects attempting and failing to use an ATM card.
