Police have identified the man killed Wednesday night in front of an ATM outside the Diamond Deli at 9th and Diamond streets.
Kevin Brian Garner, 54, of the 1500 block of North 8th Street, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and neck.
Video footage of the incident reportedly shows Garner withdrawing cash from the ATM, then struggling with a suspect who attempted to take the money. The suspect then opened fire.
Police have not yet made any arrests.
