Police identify suspect in June murder as Sajaad Hall, 20

Police identified a suspect in the June shooting of two men that left one dead as Sajaad Hall, 20.

On June 21 around 11:15 p.m., as police responded to 8th and Berks streets to disperse a large crowd, shots were heard at 7th and Montgomery Avenue.

Police investigated and found Jameer Haynesworth, 16, lying with a gunshot wound to the head. He died of his injuries. A second male victim, aged 20, was also wounded.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to Hall’s capture.

Police did not disclose how Hall was identified as the shooter.
