Police preparing warrant for SEPTA masturbator’s arrest

Police expect to have the man caught masturbating on a SEPTA bus in custody soon, they said today.

The identity of a man filmed masturbating on a SEPTA bus is known to authorities, and a warrant for his arrest is being processed, said public affairs officer Jillian Russell.

In the disturbing cellphone video of a Friday morning incident that was posted to the People of SEPTA Facebook page, a woman recorded the man masturbating directly next to her on the Route 23 bus.

The woman filming the incident criticized the man for his actions and pointed out that a young girl was behind him, even showing the girl on the video.

Reports say the man was later thrown off the bus by the driver.

His name has not been released.
