Police are seeking a man in connection with one, possibly two rapes in the Tacony section of Philadelphia.
A woman, 24, was at Torresdale and Longshore avenues at 2:30 a.m. when she accepted a ride from a man in a newer model white pick-up truck with a ladder and racks. He drove her to the 8100 block of Cresco Avenue and sexually assaulted her.
A 26-year-old woman reported a similar assault involving a similar attacker and vehicle on the 8000 block of Cresco at 2:30 a.m. July 19.
The suspect is described as a 5’9″ fair white man aged 25-35 with a thin build, reddish-brown close-cut hair, and a close-cut mustache and beard.
