Philadelphia Police are asking for the public’s help to find two men who are suspects in an armed home invasion reported in North Philadelphia early Saturday morning.
Police told 6ABC that a 23-year-old man said he was asleep in his West Thompson Street apartment at 3 a.m. when he woke up to a man he didn’t recognize pointing a gun at him.
The suspect ordered him to disable the locator apps on his cell phone and laptop, and made off with the electronics when he heard the victim’s roommate enter the apartment.
That roommate told police that he saw the first suspect run downstairs, soon followed by a second man. Both pointed guns at the roommate, the local ABC affiliate reported.
Police said that the suspects also made off with several wallets.
The two suspects were described as men with scruffy beards, about 5 foot, 10 inches tall and 175 pounds. Both were wearing dark clothing, including black hooded sweatshirts at the time, Philly.com reported.
