Police seek Oxford Circle fast-food restaurant robber

Philadelphia police are investigating an attempted armed robbery at a Checkers fast-food restaurant in Oxford Circle on Tuesday.

Philadelphia police are seeking a man who attempted to rob the Checkers restaurant in Oxford Circle at the drive-thru window Tuesday night.

The attempted robbery happened about 10:30 p.m. at the burger joint along the 5400 block of Oxford Avenue, 6ABC Action News reported.

The suspect pulled up to the fast-food restaurant’s drive-thru window in a vehicle, pulled a gun and demanded money, according to the report. The restaurant’s employees ran to the back of the store, and the suspect drove off.
