Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a vehicle involved in a Holmesburg hit-and-run last month.
The vehicle was backing into a parking spot at Wawa, 7600 Frankford Avenue, around 4 p.m. on August 30 when it hit a young girl, 11, pinning her against another car in the parking lot.
After striking the girl, both vehicles fled. The girl suffered a cut and bruising to her right knee.
The striking vehicle is described as a silver, mid-sized four-door vehicle with a sunroof and was occupied by a white man between the ages of 18 and 24 with a thin build wearing black shorts, a black tank top and a Baltimore Orioles baseball cap, as well as a brunette white female between the ages of 18 and 24 wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans with holes in the front.
The second vehicle is described as a white, four-door vehicle with a sunroof and was occupied by a white or Hispanic man between the ages of 18 and 24 who had numerous tattoos and was wearing a white tank top with black shorts.
