Police are seeking three men in Monday’s armed robbery of a Southwest Philadelphia grocery store.
Three men entered the Jaquez Grocery Store on the 2400 block of S. 62nd Street shortly before noon. Two of them held employees at gunpoint, demanding money, while the third stood by the door as a look-out.
The suspects took about $7500 in cash and cell phones, then forced the employees into a basement and fled.
They are described as a 5’8″-5’9″ black male in his late 20s with a thin build wearing a long-sleeved white t-shirt and orange hat, a 5’11”- 6’0″ black male, 20 to 30 years of age, with a long beard wearing a long-sleeved black shirt, jeans and a blue L.A. cap, and a black male with a heavy build wearing a black short-sleeved shirt.
